Car thieves - browsing at will in local parking lots
1139 Cars stolen from 32 Division in one year!
I was reading an article in the Town Crier about car theft - and I must say I was surprised at the frequency.
NorthToronto and Leaside seem to be the highest hit in the city and by a margin of around 2:1 when compared to the rest of the city.
Police think the record has something to do with the large TTC parking lots at Yonge & York Mills, and at the Yorkdale parking lot.
Parkers beware!!
